NetChoice submitted the following comments to the Department of Commerce as part of the government’s midterm review of its Joint Project Agreement with ICANN.  These comments focus on the need to ensure the private sector’s traditional management role in a post-JPA world.  NetChoice is concerned that hostile governents will attempt to push aside commercial and civil society groups in attemp to gain more control of the Internet if the ICANN is completely untethered from the US government.
