We oppose Arizona HB 2005 since there are already multiple payment options for consumers and developers outside of the app stores, and the bill has several downsides:
- Interferes with private parties and right to contract;
- Represents government picking winners and losers;
- Increases costs to App Developers; and
- Increases costs to Arizona consumers.
