The Wall Street Journal (subscription required) has a story about colleges and universities trying to crack down on the online re-sale of tickets to their graduation ceremonies. Apparently college administrators are concerned that online sales are driving up the price of scarce tickets to their commencement activities.
Foreign Policy Magazine reports on an intriguing idea to combat phishing scams by creating a new domain for just for bona fide financial institutions and pricing it high enough (say $50,000) to be prohibitively expensive for copy cats and crooks.
