On Friday, April 16 the Progress and Freedom Foundation will host a Capitol Hill briefing on Super-Sizing the FTC & What It Means for the Internet, Media & Advertising. Berin Szoka will moderate a panel of FTC veterans and observers who will discuss the growing powers of the Federal Trade Commission. This is an important issue for NetChoice members – we’ve discussed why the FTC is like a kid in a candy store and needs parental (Congressional) supervision and should not have expanded rulemaking powers (this proposal is #1 on the NetChoice iAWFUL list of bad legislation).
We recommend you attend and register here for this 12-2 pm briefing in the Capitol Visitor Center.
