Today’s digital economies and information networks are fundamentally different from those that preceded them.  The ubiquity of internet-enabled communications has profoundly altered the world’s economic, social, and information ecosystems and changed the way we live our daily lives.  It’s one of the great transformations in human history.  A central, persistent societal question is what form of governance will best serve the interests of an ever-evolving society dependent on innovations in digital technology.
