Florida AG has it right

Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum has published a letter in Florida newspapers promising to push for additional funding for cyber security and public school classes in how to use the Internet safely.


The FBI would get $6.4 billion for its increasingly high-tech crime-fighting mission in fiscal 2008 under the House-passed appropriations bill and $125 million less from the Senate measure. The House appropriation is $148 million more than the Bush administration’s request and $508 million more than the bureau’s fiscal 2007 budget.
