Worried customers are bad for business

A new study of consumer attitudes by the Gartner Group claims that reports of lost consumer data files and disclosures of unauthorized access to sensitive personal data are taking a toll on consumer confidence in online commerce.


Another consumer study shows that nearly a third of  American families see little reason to have access to the Internet and have no plans to get connected.


According to AP, the World Intellectual Property Organization has ruled against digital rights company Corbis in a dispute over ownership of the domain name "corbis.com."
