Senators examine how social media amplifies extremism

 Pay attention to who does vote against Kanter’s nomination. The major tech companies are not fans of his, given Kanter’s history of representing smaller tech companies (plus not-so-small Microsoft) against them. NetChoice, a right-leaning tech industry association that includes Amazon, Facebook and Google, urged Republicans to oppose Kanter’s nomination ahead of his confirmation hearing.
