NetChoice testified in support of SF 769 which would extend Minnesota’s current law providing sales tax relief for data centers beyond the current dozen years of exemption for a company starting today to scout for sites in Minnesota.
Providing long-term certainty of sales tax exemptions is critical for large-scale data centers that spend hundreds of millions of dollars to refresh server equipment every 3-5 years.
