NetChoice Joins Coalition Letter Urging USTR to Restore American Leadership on Digital Trade

NetChoice joined a letter signed by over 30 organizations to U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, urging him to reassert U.S. leadership in digital trade by prioritizing policies that protect cross-border data flows, prevent discrimination against American digital products and stop foreign governments from imposing burdensome regulations on U.S. businesses.

Under the first Trump administration, strong digital trade rules helped drive economic growth and innovation, but the Biden Administration’s retreat has left American companies at a disadvantage while global competitors set the rules.

To keep America at the forefront of digital innovation and ensure a competitive market, we encourage the Trump administration to champion pro-growth trade policies that empower U.S. businesses and workers.
