WASHINGTON—Today, the House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing to uncover the “Censorship Industrial Complex” that operated under the Biden Administration and how to move forward.
It is good to see Chairman Jim Jordan prioritizing this issue to ensure Americans’ First Amendment rights are upheld by government officials who take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution.

But Congress must urgently act, too. The House should swiftly introduce legislation similar to Sen. Rand Paul’s Free Speech Protection Act. Such a measure would ensure federal officials cannot coerce companies to suppress constitutionally-protected speech, solidifying key protections for Americans and sending a clear message that such violations will not be tolerated, no matter who occupies the White House.”
