Jack Shannon is the Member Relations Manager on the Public Affairs team at NetChoice. In this role, he acts as a liaison between NetChoice staff and our members.

Prior to joining NetChoice, Jack spent ten years building coalitions between nonprofit organizations and their partners. At think tanks, including the Mercatus Center and Atlas Network, Jack helped advance economic policy in dozens of states and distributed $10M+ to grantees in more than 100 countries. Jack has also worked with organizations like AHLA Foundation and CIEE, managing scholarships and workforce development programs that invest in the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Jack graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Political Science and Peace, War, and Defense. He also received a Graduate Certificate from George Mason University, focusing on national security issues.

Jack enjoys living in Washington, DC, despite the lack of North Carolina barbecue. When he isn’t meeting with NetChoice members, Jack can be found traveling internationally, reading sci-fi novels, or cheering for the UNC Tarheels.
