NetChoice, joined by the Chamber of Progress, filed an amicus brief supporting Apple, Google and Meta in the In re Casino Apps litigation. Our brief explains that Section 230’s protection against liability cannot be circumvented by clever pleadings. The core of the plaintiff’s argument attempts to hold Apple, Google and Meta liable for facilitating and disseminating third-party content. Section 230 squarely forecloses that effort, both by its plain text and as construed by binding Ninth Circuit precedent.
