NetChoice Amicus Brief Supporting Meta in Washington v. Meta (Washington Supreme Court)

NetChoice, joined by Chamber of Progress, the Computer & Communications Industry Association, and TechNet, filed an amicus brief supporting Meta’s arguments to the Washington State Supreme Court. The brief argues that Washington’s political ads disclosure law is overly burdensome because it not only penalizes websites for disseminating lawful speech but, as demonstrated by the policies enacted in response to the law, chills a substantial portion of valuable, political speech in Washington.
