On January 20, 2026, the Indiana House Committee on Utilities & Energy heard testimony on HB 1333, which would curtail the sales tax exemption program for new hyperscale data centers. NetChoice President and CEO Steve DelBianco testified against the original legislation and in favor of Chairman Soliday’s substitute bill, which was adopted by the committee.
