The requirement in 15 CSR 60-17.070 related to mobile operating systems has the potential to entangle mobile operating systems with the very kinds of websites to which the Attorney General wishes to prevent minors’ access.
Further, the proposal’s regulation of search engines is unnecessary in light of existing private efforts to prevent the display of inappropriate material on search engines.
