NetChoice Cautions FTC Against Overreach on Price Regulation

NetChoice submitted comments to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on the Commission’s Proposed Enforcement Policy Statement Regarding Personalized Pricing. NetChoice agrees that the FTC has an important role in policing legitimate fraud and consumer harm. However, the Statement offered by the FTC would deter businesses from offering popular and beneficial discount programs to their customers. The Statement further lacks evidentiary and legal support.
